"INTERNATIONAL NIGHT" AT COSMOPOLITAN CLUB FRIDAY

Playlet and Short Farce on Program.--Use Proceeds for Sending Representative to Europe.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A program of eleven numbers including a playlet and a short farce written by one of the members followed by informal dancing constitutes the entertainment offered by the Cosmopolitan Club in its seventh annual international night to be held in Brattle Hall Friday. For the first time, since the club was established, an admission charge is to be made. Tickets will be on sale at the Cooperative Branch for 50 cents plus war tax of five cents. The proceeds are to be used to create a fund from which will be paid the University's part of the expense of sending a representative to Europe to reorganize foreign clubs. Professor Miller, head of the Department of Sociology at Oberlin College has been chosen to represent the American Association of Cosmopolitan Clubs.

The program is indicative of the international character of the Club which was established to foster, by means of social activities, a greater knowledge and understanding of their fellow students among the foreigners resident at the University. A feature is a farce, written by L. Geyer '19, which deals symbolically with the ideal of the Club, a true Cosmopolitan spirit.
