Coach Winsor Back on the Job

Speed was the keynote of yesterday afternoon's hockey practice with Coach Alfred Winsor '02 back in his old position to whip the sextet into shape for the first of the University's games with Yale next Saturday. Mr. Winsor neglected no opportunities of telling the team how to handle the puck, and with a week of his coaching the Crimson players should line up against the Blue a far better developed organization than heretofore.

The return of T. M. Avery '21, a veteran of last year's seven, who has been out with a broken thumb, was another encouraging feature of yesterday's workout, as strength in the forward line is much needed. In the scrimmage that followed the usual combination drill, Avery alternated with R. W. Emmons, 3rd, '20, at right wing. After the practice Coach Calflin gave the men a half-hour blackboard talk in the Varsity Club.
