ANSWER THE ROLL CALL

The American Red Cross Launches its Fourth roll call today--a most appropriate time to call to the attention of the nation the needs of an organization which did such splendid work in the great struggle. This invitation to join and assist in such a practical and humanitarian work is one to which we should give a hearty response. The excellent record which the Red Cross made during the period of the war is sufficient reason for its existence in peace time. For the purpose of adapting itself to the needs of peace and for the carrying on of activities resulting directly from the war, the "greatest mother in the world" issues this call for members. There is to be no special campaign conducted in the University, but there is no doubt that Harvard men will recognize the indispensable services rendered by the American Red Cross and will regard it as a duty to answer its call.
