CREWS GET ON WATER AT LYNN AFTER MUCH DELAY

Brown Replaces Morris on B: Will Row at Lynn Until Charles is Free of Ice.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday was the first day of outdoor practice for the first and second University and the first Freshman crews, as they were able, after a delay of over a week to take the water at Lynn. Harbor, much to the satisfaction of Coach Haines. From now on until the Charles opens up, regular practice at Lynn will be continued. Unfortunately, arrangements for all the crews to row on open water cannot be made until the river opens, but it is hoped that will be in the course of the next week.

Everything went smoothly at the Lynn Boathouse. There were no changes in the line-up except that H. Brown '22, took the place of D. H. Morris '21, who was unable to row on account of sickness, at number six on crew B.

The line-ups at present are: University A: Bow, davis; 2, Kane; 3, Burden; 4, Olmsted; 5, Sedgwick; 6, McCagg; 7, Terry; Stroke., Duncan; Coxswain, Peirson. University B: Bow, Damon; 2, C. F. Batchelder; 3, Appleton; 4, Lothrop; 5, Atkinson; 6, Brown; 7, Pond; Stroke, Jenney; Coxswain, Williams. 1st Freshman: Bow, Collier; 2, Post; 3, Huiskamp; 4, Self; 5, Kunhardt; 6, Morgan; 7, Fiske; Stroke, Bradford; Coxswain, Badger.

The use of a launch has been secured for Coach Haines, and, although it was not ready yesterday, it will be in service today.
