ENGINEERING CAMP AT SQUAM LAKE RE-OPENS THIS SUMMER

Course to Last Eight Weeks Counts Toward College Degrees

The Engineering Camp at Squam Lake, which has been closed for three summers during the war, will re-open next summer, on the Saturday following Commencement Day, June 26 The Camp will be open eight weeks and the following course will be given this summer:

Plane, Topographic, and Railroad Surveying.--Instruments, plane and topographic surveying, levelling, meridian and latitude determinations, map making, railroad curves and location, field and office practice. Professor Hughes, Professor J. C. Barnes, University of Georgia, Mr. C. H. Paige and assistants.

This course is open to students who have preparation in Plane Trigonometry, including Logarithms, equivalent to the entrance requirements and will be counted as one full course for the degrees of A.B., A.A., and S.B.

All students are required, before going to Camp, to make a deposit of $100, with the Bursar of Harvard University, to cover the cost of board, lodging, service and miscellaneous expenses. Each student will be charged his proportion of these expenses; and such part of his deposit as may be unused will be returned. In case of a deficiency, on the other hand, each student will be expected to pay his share of the shortage.
