Clark Pitches No-Hit Game Against Schoolboys--3 Runs Made in Second.

C. A. Clark ocC., playing for the first time with the University second team, pitched a no-hit shut-out game against the St. John's Preparatory School nine yesterday afternoon. The final score was 3-0.

The scrubs made their killing in the second inning, when E. H. Stillman '21 started the scoring by reaching first on an error by Hatch. Then J. Martin '22 lined out a single, advancing Stillman to third. After D. McK. Key '22 had fanned, Hatch committed another error, letting Stillman and Martin score, and allowing Allen to reach first. Finally Clark singled, sending Allen across with the third tally.

After that the scoring ceased, Clark retiring the schoolboys in one, two, three order. Martin almost scored again for the Crimson in the sixth but was thrown out at the plate by the opposing pitcher.
