PHILLIPS BROOKS HOUSE EXTENDS WELCOME TO '24

P. Hofer '21, President of P. B. H. Association, to Preside at 8 O'clock Meeting

This year's entering class will be given its second reception tonight at 8 o'clock in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House, when 1924 men will meet informally for talks by members of the Faculty and prominent graduates and undergraduates. The speakers will devote themselves to undergraduate opportunities and activities, the leaders in the various fields explaining the aims and work of their organizations. P. Hofer '21, President of the Phillips Brooks House Association, will preside.

The Faculty will be represented at the reception by Professor W. B. Munro, Ph.D., '00, chairman of the Department of History, Government and Economics, and Major R. F. C. Goetz, Professor of Military Science and Tactics.

In addition, J. Bingham '16, former captain of the University track team, will address the meeting. A. Horween Occ., captain of the University football eleven, will speak on Freshman football. Following these, the presidents of the CRIMSON, Lampoon, Advocate, and the heads of the Glee Club and other undergraduate activities will talk on their work.

A group of men from the Glee Club will sing various selections and refreshments will be served.
