De Turenne Heads Tennis Committee

At a meeting of the United States Lawn Tennis Association in New York at the McAlpin Hotel last week, it was announced that L. A. de Turenne '21, captain of the University tennis team, was elected Chairman of the National Association's Committee on Intercollegiate Tennis, to succeed Watson Washburn '15. Captain de Turenne is the first undergraduate to hold this position, and in his telegram telling de Turenne of his election, President Julian S. Myrick of the Association, congratulated him on his able management of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association of which he is president, and also on the building up of the University Tennis Club.
