HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
The Phillips Brooks House Association has appointed a committee of undergraduates under the name of the Welfare Committee, the purpose of which will be to give aid to the poor people of the community and to needy students in College. It is the plan of the committee to investigate thoroughly every case brought to its attention before any aid is given. Anyone in the University knowing of any case of need should communicate with the chairman, Richard Chute '22, either at Phillips Brooks House or in Randolph Hall.
The members of the committee are as follows: Richard Chute '22, Chairman; R. W. Gratwick '21, Philip Hofer '21, E. L. Peirson '21, R. P. Parker '22.
