Menorah Society Offers $100 Essay Prize

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Prize Essay contest of the Harvard Menorah Society will close Friday, April 1. Through the generosity of the late Jacob H. Schiff the Society is able to offer $100 as a prize for the best essay by an undergraduate on a subject connected with the work and achievements of the Jewish people. The award is made by a committee of three, of which Professor David Gordon Lyon is Chairman. Professor Jewett is also one of the judges, but owing to the death of Professor of the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York City, the third position remains unfilled. Dr. H. A. Wolfson, who acted as one of the committee last year, will probably serve again, and may be consulted at Divinity 35 as to essay topics.
