Appointed Member of Graduate Advisory Committee to Assist Coach Bingham in Conditioning Men

On the recommendation of Coach Bingham, D. C. Parmenter '13 has been appointed a member of the Track Graduate Advisory Committee. In the future he will render Coach Bingham any assistance he desires in conditioning the track team.

As the Track Graduate Advisory Committee has definitely decided to close the winter track season with the Winter Carnival which is to be held on Tuesday. March 8. the trip to New York on March 12 has been cancelled. Any undergraduates in the University, whether they have been reporting for track or not can enter the Winter Carnival, which is a handicap meet.

University Team Rests

Following a vigorous workout yesterday afternoon, the University track men who are entered in the Northeastern College meet which is to be held in the Boston Y. M. C. A. tomorrow afternoon, will be given a complete rest today. Time trials for the Freshmen were held yesterday afternoon. A final practice session today will complete the preparation of the 1924 squad for the Andover meet which is to be run at Andover Saturday afternoon. Approximately twenty men will make the trip. The usual winter track events will be held, including the 40-yard dash, 45-yard hurdles, 300-yard dash, 600-yard, 1000-yard and mile runs, and the high-jump and shot-put.
