ORATORS COMPETE TONIGHT

Third Annual Competition of Comite Francais Has Six Speakers Listed--Music by M. Laurent, Flutist

This evening at 8 o'clock in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building, the third annual oratorical competition for the Comite France-Amerique medal will be held. This prize was established in 1918 by the Comite, to be awarded to the successful contestant in an annual competition in French declamation on some subject drawn from the history of French civilization. The meeting will be open to the public, and all persons interested in French affairs are especially invited.

The program of speakers will be varied by musical selections, consisting of flute solos by Mr. Georges Laurent, flute soloist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The program follows: "La France et l'Angleterre"  R. C. Walcott '22. "L'Education populaire, et la lot de huit heures"  C. A. Gage '22. "La question des indemnites allemandes"  R. O. Spero '22. Flute Solo, "Idylle"  B. Godard  Mr. Georges Laurent "L'Allemagne et les reparations"  Rector Lazo '21. "La France et les nations"  A. I. Magnire ocC. "La France d'hier et d'aujourd hui"  Rendrik Pruyn '22. Flute solos, "Nocturne,"  "Valso" Chopiu Mr. Georges Laurent.
