As a result of its annual meeting for the election of officers, the University Debating Council has announced the following as the leaders of the organization for next year: President, Barton Hay Kuhns '22 of Omaha, Neb.; vice-president, Clyde William Phelps '22 of Rockford, Ill.; secretary, Richard Stuart Bowers '24 of Brookline; manager, Manuel Weisbuch '23 of Rochester N. Y. Kuhns was on the University team which defeated Washington University last year, while Phelps was one of the debaters who assisted in the victory over Princeton this season. Bowers captained the Freshman debating team this year and is President of the 1924 Debating Society.
