HONOR MEDICAL SCHOOL STUDENTS

Eleven Elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Because of Excellent Work

Eleven members of the Medical School have been elected to the medical honor fraternity, Alpha Omega Alpha, on the basis of outstanding work in their general medical studies. The fraternity corresponds to Phi Beta Kappa in the college.

The men thus honored include six members of the fourth-year class: Joseph A. Crisler Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., a graduate of the University of Virginia in 1917; Herrmann L. Blumgart '17 of Allston; Augustus Thornadike Jr., of Boston; Alfred H. Washburn of Boston, Amherst '16; Samuel R. Webber of Calais, Maine and John C. Whitehern of Spencer, Nebraska, who graduated from Doane College in 1916.

From the third-year class five men were elected, Hallowell Davis '18, of Brookline; George Kahn of Dorchester, M. I. T. '19; Howard B. Sprague '18, of Swampscott; Grantley @. Taylor '18, of Paterson, N. J.; and Louis Wolff of Revere, M. I. T. '18.
