Early this morning the University quintet will leave Boston for Hanover, N. H. to meet the Dartmouth five in what promises to be one of the stiffest games of the schedule. The University five is in the best of condition and Coach Wachter will start the regular line-up.
Of the Dartmouth quintet, Cullen at right forward is the highest point scorer in the Intercollegiate League which includes the fives of Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Cornell and Pennsylvania. Malcolm and Goldstein are members of last year's Yearling team, Millar is a veteran of last year's five while Shaneman came up this fall from the substitutes.
Comparative scores, although at best an unreliable means of judging the two teams, would seem to put the opponents on practically an even basis. Last Tuesday the Crimson defeated Yale 26-13 while the Green was able to down the Blue by precisely the same margin 23-10. In their second game with Worcester Tech, Coach Wachter's men triumphed 31-17 while Dartmouth conquered the Mid-State five by a 23-21 count.
In the remaining games of the year, the Green has lost but one game of their regular schedule, to Princeton, which won 27-26 when a Dartmouth rally just fell short. The Green team has defeated Cornell, Knox, Columbia and Middlebury while a swing through the Middle West during the Christmas vacation netted three triumphs and two defeats.
