FRESHMAN INFORMALS WIN

1925 Hockey Combination Has Little Difficulty in Overcoming Milton and Browne and Nichols Sextet 5-0

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Despite poor ice conditions which materially slowed up the play of both teams, the 1925 informal hockey sextet won a well-deserved victory over a Milton Academy and Browne and Nichols combination 5-0, on Saturday at the Arena.

Hodder proved himself the Freshman's strongest man, combining his usual steady defensive work with some of the brilliant dashes down the rink that made him the outstanding figure in the Rambler contest last Thursday. Team-work was a forte of neither sextet, the ragged and eccentric playing clearly showing the post-season character of the struggle.

Practically the entire yearling squad were given an opportunity to play, frequent substitutions being made during the game.
