At a meeting of the Silver Bay Conference committee yesterday afternoon, Chairman Corliss Lamont '24 told of the arrangements which have been made for the conference this year which will last from Thursday, June 15, until Friday, June 23, and the committee reported on the progress made toward securing delegates. The next ten days will be spent in intensive work to find out definitely what men will make up the delegation and the committee will report again on May 9.
Present indications show that this Thirty-Seventh Annual Conference will probably exceed in size the one held last year when 800 delegates from 60 New England colleges were in attendance. The committee in charge is making a special effort to secure the best speakers in the country on social, religious, and economic problems of the day.
