Making an Advertisement Is Subject of Speech at Crimson Building

The art of "Making an Advertisement" was described by Mr. P. M. Hollister '13 in the fifth of the series of lectures upon advertising at the Crimson Building last night. Mr. Hollister introduced his speech by telling of the psychology that dominated advertisements, and stressed the necessity of simplicity.

Other points that Mr. Hollister spoke of as necessary for a successful advertisement were attractive headings, attractive pictures, and attractive reading matter.
