PLAN TO START SPRING SOCCER WORK NEXT TUESDAY

Practice Expected to Last Six Weeks--Coach Welch to Be in Charge

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Candidates for the University soccer team will be called out for practice next Tuesday afternoon on Soldiers Field. This is a new departure and marks the first time that a Crimson soccer team has held any regular work in the spring. The training period will cover a large part of the spring term, probably lasting about six weeks. Although no definite arrangements have been made, the practice will probably be brought to a close with one or two informal games.

Coach W. R. Welch, who was in charge of the team last fall, will again direct the squad in its work, stressing particularly passing and kicking.
