NINE TO GET UNDER WAY

Several Veterans Will Report Today for Fall Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Several veterans with experience on University or Freshman teams are expected to report this afternoon when the candidates for fall baseball meet for their first practice at 3.45 on Soldiers Field. Although Captain Jenkins and a number of other players are out for football, the infield should be unusually strong.

With R. G. Norris '24 or R. H. Field '26 at first base, J. E. Knowlton '26 at second, F. S. Hill '24 at short, and H. B. Slatten '26 at third, Coach Slattery should find little difficulty in rounding up a formidable team.
