PROF HUDSON DENIES WRITING BOK PLAN

Telegram Signed "The Nation" Told of Exposure in Coming Issue of Peace Prize Winner's Identity

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

New York, N. Y., January 11--The Nation in this week's Issue is attributing the authorship of the Bok Peace Plan to Manley O. Hudson. (Signed) The Nation

The above telegram was received late last night by the CRIMSON and confirmed by the Postal telegraph.

A CRIMSON reporter found Professor Hudson at the Ames Competition talking with Dean Pound, one of the Judges of the Bok Award. When asked the question. "Did you write the winning Bok Peace Plan?" he denied it flatly. Then the Nation's telegram was produced, but after being confronted with it, Professor Hudson again said, "No, no," and turned away.

One of the rules of the Policy Committee of the Bok Plan is that the author should be pledged to secrecy until the nation-wide vote is completed. Several friends of Professor, Hudson have commented on the similarity between the Bok Plan and Hudson's views for securing peace, but all consider it unlikely that he is the actual author of the winning plan.
