With the arrival in Boston of three shells consigned to the University by boatbuilders in the State of Washington, via the Panama canal, special plans have been made to insure the safe arrival of these boats, two of which are for the University, and the other for Gioton, in Newell boathouse.
Not desiring to entrust the delivery of the shells to automobiles, the crew management has arranged to have a float towed in to Boston Harbor today or tomorrow, on which the three crates will be unloaded, and returned to Newell. Here they will be uncrated, set up, and eventually rigged, for it is not expected that they will be ready for use until after the spring recess.
