YALE ADMITS NEW JUNIOR FRATERNITY; 42 MEN ELECTED

New Haven, Conn., April 3,--The admission of an additional Junior Fraternity at Yale was announced tonight with the establishment of a chapter of the national Fraternity Alpha Sigma Phi. This is the sixth Junior Fraternity to be accorded recognition at Yale, and the installation of the new chapter comes as a result of a constantly growing demand. These fraternities correspond to the Final Clubs at Harvard.

The other five Junior Fraternities are Delta Kappa Epsilon, Psi Upailon, Alpha Delta Phi, Beta Theta Pi, and Phi Gamma Delta.

As a result of the spring elections, 42 Sophomores were chosen to become members of Junior fraternities.
