MORIZE CALLS EDUCATION JUMBLE IN U. S. SCANDALOUS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"It seems scandalous to me that your football and baseball coaches are paid three times as much as your professors," Professor Andre Morize, Associate Professor of French Literature, said in an address on Saturday before the New Jersey Federation of Women's Club. "This state of affairs works against real dignity and culture of your college professors."

Professor Morize went on to deplore the enormous expenditures of money on building and equipment by institutions, and what he called "the incongruous mixing of courses in your schools and colleges whereby, economics, ice cream making, millinery, with a little dash of French literature, all thrown together, will lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree."

A CRIMSON reporter last night endeavored to ask Professor Morize if he had reached these conclusions from his experience at Harvard, but found that he had not returned from Atlantic City.
