This afternoon, in Jordan Hall, Mr. Percy Grainger, returning after a long absence from Boston, will play the Chopin sonata in B minor, the Schumann Symphonic Studies, and sundry other pieces, including two sonatas of Scarlatti.

This evening the concert above reviewed will be repeated.

Tomorrow,. Sunday afternoon, Mr. John McCormack will sing in Symphony Hall.

Thursday afternoon, in Jordan Hall, Mr. Frederick Tillotson, fast building a wide reputation hereabouts, will play a varied program.

Thursday evening the Harvard Glee Club, generally admitted to be one of the world's greatest choruses, will sing in Symphony Hall. Mme. Onegin will be the soloist.

Friday afternoon and Saturday evening, the eighth pair of Symphony concerts.

Saturday afternoon, in Jordan Hall, Mr. Lautner, skilled and able tenor, formerly of the Glee Club, will sing an excellent program, drawing heavily upon the moderns.

The Temple Choirs on December 20.

It is announced that the Swedish Ballet, probably the most artistic and adventurous of present-day ballet-companies, will occupy the Opera House the week of December 17.
