Richard Glosser Presents Exhibition of Portraits and Studies

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An exhibition of charcoal and crayon portraits is now being held at the Grace Horn Galleries by Maurice Richard Grosser '24. Grosser recently exhibited a number of his works at the Fogg Museum and on the merits of that exhibition he was awarded a Fellowship which will enable him to spend next year in study abroad.

The portraits now being exhibited include studies of Robert S. Hillyer '17, Instructor in English A, and author of a recent work on William Blake, Martin Mower '01, Instructor in Fine Arts and an artist known for his flower pieces, and Chandler Rathfon Post '04, Associate Professor of Greek and Fine Arts and author of a volume on the history of sculpture.

While the exhibition consists principally of drawings of members of the Faculty, several of Mr. Grosser's friends are treated in charcbal or crayon. There are also on view a number of still life studies in the nude.
