SECONDS LOSE TO EXETER AT 5-0

Loud in Box for Schoolboys Baffles Lake's Hitters

Coach Lake's second baseball team lost the first game of its 1925 season to the Exeter nine at Exeter on Saturday afternoon by a score of 5-0. Although reinforced by a contingent of first team men dropped in the last cut, the seconds were not a match for the heavy hitting schoolboy batters.

Loud, pitching for Exeter, proved consistently baffling to the University batsmen, turning away 12 men on strikes, and giving but three scattered safeties.
