"Fortunately no one in college has been prostrated by the heat wave as yet," said Dr. M. H. Bailey, Medical Adviser to the University, when questioned last night.
"I have had two cases," he continued, "which might possibly be attributed to the heat, but not entirely so. It seems that college men suffer less from extremes of temperature than other people. It is astounding, to me to see the number of men who have not thought the excessive wave sufficient cause for keeping them off the tennis courts. However, I do think, that we will have some cases if men do not have sense enough to forego violent exercise during such a period as we seem to be undergoing."
