In a recent survey made at the University Athletic Buildings, the following totals were found. It is interesting to see the tremendous increase in attendance at the various buildings under the Athletic Association, during the last six years.
In 1920 an average of 856 men reported at the Hemenway Gymnasium, the Squash Courts, and the Swimming Pool, over a period of three days. Two years later this total average increased to 1222 for a period covering three corresponding days.
Now in 1927 an average of 1583 men almost doubles the average of six years ago.
Hemenway Gymnasium attracts more than halt of the college athletes, its average rising from, 424 men daily in December 1920, to 621 men in December 1921 and finally reaching its apex with 725 men daily in January, 1926.
