CRIMSON COMPETITIONS ARE STILL OPEN TO 1930

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The news and photographic competitions of the Crimson which got under way last night are still open to the class of 1930. Men who wish to become candidates should report any time today at the Crimson building.

Both of these competitions will be of 11 weeks duration. No previous experience is necessary. Candidates who report today will not be under any disadvantage because of their late start. Only Freshmen are eligible for this competition, and it will be the last in these departments of the year.

The work of a news candidate is similar to that of a reporter on a large city daily, consisting of the gathering of facts, and the writing of news items.

The photographic candidates, will be engaged in the taking and developing of pictures for the pictorial section of the Crimson.
