TECH AND CRIMSON TO MEET ON TRACK NEXT SATURDAY

Coach Farrell Has Large Squad to Keep Last Year's Laurels

The Harvard and M. I. T. track forces will meet on the Stadium track next Saturday afternoon in the first meet on the Crimson spring schedule.

Coach Farrell has listed 150 names in the 15 events, but will not pick the actual entrants until several days before the meet.

Last year, the University overwhelmed M. I. T. on track and field to win by a 153 to 73 score.

Among the point-winners who figured against Tech last spring who will face the M. I. T. squad again, are Captain E. C. Haggerty '27, several times Inter-collegiate champion over the mile distance: A. H. O'Neil '28, middle distance star who captained the Freshman two years ago, A. H. Miller, '27, a sure point winner in the past and C. A. Pratt '28, all-round performer in the weight events.

Among the others who are expected to swell the Crimson point total are W. C. Peet, '28, quarter-miler. G. W. Smith '29, half-miler, A. E. French, broad-jumper, J. L. Reid, two-miler, N. S. Ballan, tyre '27, low and high hardles, and J. O. Wildes, miler.
