A spring trip for the Freshman baseball players which will take the first-year diamond squad through Connecticut to play several preparatory schools is being considered by the 11. A. A.
Several years ago this spring trip was a regular feature of the Freshman baseball schedule, games with Pomfret, Choate, Loomis and Botchkiss being included in the itinerary. At present no arrangements have been made to play any of these Connecticut sechools this spring, but it is probable that if the trip is sanctioned by Director of Athletics W. J. Bingham '16, a series of games will be arranged during the week of April 18-23.
The Freshman game with Middlesex scheduled for next Saturday has been cancelled due to the fact that the Concord schoolboys do not return from their Easter Recess until Thursday, and the time is considered insufficient to prepare the nine for a game on Saturday. An attempt will be made to secure another opponent for Coach Davidson's team.
