On Saturday the champion class baseball team of the University will travel to New Haven to engage the Yale champion class nine. This year inaugurated the inter-class contests of the two universities, with the Harvard Juniors defeating the Sheffield Scientific School Sophomores in a football game at Soldiers Field last fall.

Juniors Lead League

The Harvard representative at New Haven is still in doubt. The 1928 nine now in the lead, plays against the 1929 aggregation today, and the 1927 team tomorrow. One victory out of this pair of contests will gain the laurels for the Juniors.

If the third-year players lose both games, the league schedule will end in a triple tie, and the team to go to Yale will be chosen by lot.

The present standing of the class teams follows:   Won  Lost  Ave Juniors  3  1  750 Seniors  2  3  400 Sophomores  2  3  400

The averages of the five leading hitters in the class league are:   ab  r  h  Ave. M. C. Stevens '27  11  4  6  .545 R. B. Long '28  15  4  6  .400 L. A. Rusin '27  10  5  4  .400 G. R. Hubbard '27  19  9  7  .370 M. J. Adams '28  16  1  5  312
