HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
"Resolved: That Harvard should be made coeduational" is the subject that will be discussed in tonight's meeting of the Freshman Debating Club. This meeting will mark the close of a very successful season.
In the discussion this evening, the affirmative side will be upheld by A. M. Silverblatt '30 and F. B. Thurber '30. A. B. Rubenstein '30 and E. H. Hubbard '30 will oppose the proposed conjunction of Radcliffe and Harvard and will defend the present system.
It has been announced that all Freshmen who are interested in debating, or in this special topic of discussion, are invited to attend the meeting, and to take part in the discussion following the prepared speeches. At the close of the program a social hour will be held.
