The Harvard Handbook, published and distributed free of charge every fall by the Phillips Brooks House Association, will be of smaller dimensions this year than previously and will also include a socket for cards and personal memoranda, it was announced last night.
2500 copies will be printed. 800 of these will be sent by the College Office in August direct to the home of every new freshman who has been officially admitted to Harvard. The remainder will be distributed in September, at the beginning of the fall term, to new students.
The publishing of this year's Harvard Hand-book will be in the hands of a committee headed by C. L. Allen '29. His assistants are T. H. Byrd '30, L. G. Bohmrich, ocC, L. D. Zorn '29, and R. S. Tennant '30.
The Harvard Handbook has been published for 35 years, and from its general usefulness to incoming freshman has earned the name of "Freshman Bible."
