NEW BRIDGE WILL BE DEDICATED MAY 14

Secretary of Labor Will Be Present at Unveiling of Tablets--Grandstands Open Only to Ticket Holders

Final plans for the dedication of the John W. Wecks Memorial Bridge, to be dedicated on May 14, were made public and it was announced that President Lowell and the Hon. James J. Davis, Secretary of Labor will be the principle speakers. Approximately 4000 invitations are being sent out, to include all of Mr. Week's closest friends and associates in government, banking and social life, together with other leaders in public and educational affairs.

Admission to the stands constructed recently for the exercises will be by tickets only. The program will be broadcasted by large amplifiers and there will be a band concert between 2:30 and 3, o'clock, while the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and National Guard will participate in the ceremony, before and after the exercises. Government troops, boats and airplanes will be present in honor of the ex-Secretary of War.

Glee Club to Sing

Following the unveiling of the four memorial tablets at 3' o'clock, the Glee Club will give a selection, followed by a prayer offered by the Reverend P. S. Phalen '08 of the Unitarian Church of West Newton, and then the bridge will be presented by Henry Hornblower on behalf of the donors, former associates of the late Secretary of War. The donors are: Henry Hornblower, J. J. Phalen, E. L. Geary, J. W. Prentiss '98, H. N. Sweet, C. T. Lovering '02. Ralph Hornblower '11, J. A. Fayne '07, J. S. Dunstean '98, H. C. Sierck, P. B. Skinner, P. W. Brown, A. R. Meyer '10, J. H. Wainwright, and O. E. Weller.

President Lowell to Give Bridge

President Lowell, on behalf of Harvard, will deliver the bridge to the Commonwealth and it will be received by Governor Alvan T. Fuller. An address will then be given by the Hon. James J. Davis. Another piece from the Glee Club will be followed by a benediction by the Reverend P. S. Phalen.
