Further plans for Saturday's intramural track and field meet and Edvin Wide's assault on the two-mile record were announced by the H. A. A. yesterday.

Fourteen permanent trophies will be placed in competition for the first time Saturday in the intramural track and field meet. The cups have been offered by former Crimson athletes and with three exceptions bear the names of the donors.

Two cups have been presented, one in the honor of C. C. Little '10, President of the University of Michigan, and the other in the honor of E. L. Farrell, University track coach, to be called the "Clarence C. Little Trophy" and the "Edward L. Farrell Cup." A "Jaako Mikkola Cup" has been given in the honor of Farrell's assistant mentor by recent graduates of the University.

The complete list of trophies follows:

100 Yards--W. R. Mansfield, '97.

220 Yards--L. P. Dodge, '08.

440 Yards--S. G. Wells, '86.

880 Yards--Evan Hollister, '97.

Mile Run--F. P. Wells, '64.

Two Miles--J. H. Jaques. '11.

High Hurdles--C. G. Krogness, '21.

Low Hurdles--W. F. Garcelon, '95.

High Jump--G. R. Fearing, '93.

Polo Vault--Robert Haydock, '16.

Broad Jump--C. C. Little, '16.

Shot Put--T. T. Lyman, '16 (Edward L. Farrell Cup).

Hammer Throw--H. E. Kersburg, '07.

Javelin Throw--Jaako Mikkola cup.

Entries for the intramural track meet were to close last night, but they will be held open today to afford late entrants opportunity to sign up.

Crimson Runners May Pace Wide

The continued efforts of the H. A. A. yesterday to find pace-makers for Wide again proved fruitless. Coach Farrell stated last night to the CRIMSON that the burden of the task of pushing the Swedish runners to a new record would fall on the shoulders of three Harvard undergraduates if the H. A. A. is unable to find competitors outside of the University. The three men are E. C. Haggerty '27, captain of the track team and intercollegiate mile champion, J. L. Reid '29, captain elect of the cross-country team, and Lesile Flaskman '29.

The problem of figuring out the handicaps to allot this trio will devolve upon F. V. McGrath, veteran handicapper of the New England A. A. U.

The three runners are among the best in college ranks, all having placed in the indoor intercollegiate last winter.
