The third annual University swimming meet will be held this afternoon in the Big Tree Swimming Pool at 3.30 o'clock. The meet will be held under the regulation collegiate rules and will include six events.
The contest, which is open to all members of the University, has aroused considerable interest. The blue book for entries, which is in the Big Tree Pool, will remain open until noon today. The meet will consist of the following events: the 100 yard relay, the 50 yard race for novices, the 200 yard breast stroke, the 200 yard free style, the 100 yard back stroke, and the fancy dive.
Five teams, three of them composed largely of men in the Graduate Schools, are entered in the fourmen relay race.
