The Memorial Room of Widener Library was closed to visitors yesterday while cameramen of the University Film Foundation took pictures of the room for the Harvard Film.
Lighting for the photography was obtained by the use of seven of the huge floodlights, which are used on the Soldiers Field Stadium to light the field. Each of these lights requires two 1000-watts bulbs.
This morning, the men will take motion pictures of the Reading Room. In order to get a record of undergraduate activity during the Reading Period, the picture will be taken between 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock. Ten of the large floodlights will be used for this work.
