Rembrandt Exhibition

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

An exhibition of etchings by Rembrandt is being held at the present time at Fogg Art Museum. While the majority of the prints being exhibited are from the Fogg's own collection, a few important subjects lacking from that collection have been lent by the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Of interest since Professor A. R. Hind, who is to give the Charles Eliot Norton lectures this year, has chosen the works of Rembrandt as the subject of his lectures, this showing gives an idea of the great versatility of this famous artist.

The Raising of Lazarus, considered by many as one of his most important products, is being included on this present showing at Fogg. Other well known works of Rembrandt which are being shown include the Hundred Guilder Print, Three Crosses, Lutma, Clement de Johnge, Goldweigher's Field, and Christ Presented to the People.
