NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the entire afternoon being spent on the charging machine, tackling dummies, and blocking contrivance, as well as in man to man contact work, the line had a hard day's practice yesterday. Backs and ends went through plays in skeleton formation, with a great deal of time being spent on laterals.

Devens on Field

Ticknor, who is forced to spend each night at the Stillman Infirmary on account of a slight bruise, was not on the field, but he is certain to be in the game Saturday, and should be out for practice either today or tomorrow. Devens was on the field in togs for the first time since his injury in the Springfield game. The entire squad will be available for the game with the Hanoverians on Saturday.

Mays in Practice

As the teams lined up yesterday for signal practice, Harding and Moushegian filled the end positions, Richards and Kales were the tackles, and Myerson and Trainer the guards. Gildea filled Ticknor's vacant position at center. In the backfield, Wood ran the team, while Mays and Crickard alternated at left halfback. White was at fullback and Shereschewsky, the right halfback for the afternoon.

With the return of the backfield stars to the fold, Harvard's supply of reserve backs should be ample for the Dartmouth game, while with the three veterans Ticknor, Talbot, and Trainer to strengthen the center of the line, the Harvard forward wall should be able to stave off the advances of the Big Green eleven.
