TWO DEBATING TEAMS STAGE SOUTHERN INVASIONS TODAY

Two Harvard debating teams will leave Cambridge this weekend to test their strength in the first matches of the season. R. M. Alt '32 and P. H. Colien '32 journey to Newark, New Jersey, today to participate in a split debate with a New Jersey Law School team. The Harvard debaters and the lawyers will pair off in discussing the question: "Resolved. That the United States should recognize Soviet Russia."

At. St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, tomorrow. A. B. Rood '31 C. F. Elliott '31. and D. D. Lloyd '31 will argue the question: "Resolved. That the state should have control of electric power."

December 5 is the date set for a match with Cornell, when "Resolved. That foreign indictments of American culture are justified" will be the topic of the argument. On December 9 the Harvard speakers will journey to Holy Cross to dispute with the Crusaders on the subject: "Resolved. That the United States should adhere to the World Court according to the provisions of the Roof Protocol."
