The semi-finals of the University Wrestling Championships were held yesterday afternoon in Hemenway Gymnasium. The relatively large number of contestants who entered the meet has been narrowed down to 16 finalists who will battle for the championships in eight respective classes this afternoon at Hemenway.
The results of yesterday's matches follow:
125-pound class: J. B. Gilbert '33 defeated Malcolm Gibson '29 by fall.
145-pound class: P. O. Johnson '33 defeated B. C. Granage '33 by fall.
155-pound class: Joseph Lifrak 11, defeated O. E. Goddard '33 by decision. W. A. Robertson '31 defeated D. A. Fuss '32 by fall.
175-pound class: E. S. Daniell Jr. 31, defeated G. L. Graves '32 by fall.
