REORGANIZATION OF DENTAL CLINIC MADE

Seniors Undergo Practical Training as Clinic Work Changes

This year will see a reorganization of clinical work at the Dental School, it was announced yesterday at the Dean's office. In the past students have spent mornings on plate-work and afternoons doing fillings. The new plan seeks to make the Senior year resemble the conditions of private practice as far as possible.

Students in their last year will see patients throughout the day, diagnose for them, and do necessary plate and filling work in both mornings and afternoons. As usual this work will be supervised by the instructors.

The Dean's list, recently made known, includes four Seniors. T. W. Atwood, M. E. Cohen, W. N. Phipps, and H. B. F. Seyfarth; and four Juniors: D. Hunn, R. W. Lawrence, J. Y. Parsons, and M. E. Tell. These men are given free time for research under supervision.

The first meeting of the Harriet Newell Lowell Society for Dental Research will be held on November 12 at the School.
