Unable to turn their opponents winning streak, the Harvard University Soccer team went down to defeat by a score of 5 to 3 before the Pennsylvania team on Saturday at River Field, Philadelphia.
In spite of the goals that were tallied for Harvard by D.B. Dorman '32, Captain H.H. Broadbent '32, and D.M. Frame '32, the Pennsylvanians, victors this year over Germantown, Crescent, and Lehigh, succeeded by their swift running and passing to drive in the two extra winning points.
In its third victory of the season, the Harvard Freshman soccer team booted its way to victory by a 5 to 1 score over Worcester Academy at Gaskill Field, Worcester.
The summaries: Score--Pennsylvania 5, Harvard 3. Goals--Kullman 3, Anderson, Chang, Dorman, Broadbent, Frame. Referee--R. Howley. Linesmen--Paynton, Crew. Time--Four 22-minute periods.
