Wood, Hallowell, Record Win Positions as Senior Marshals

William Barry Wood Jr. of Milton, has been elected First Marshal of the Class of 1932 in the elections held yesterday and the day before. Wood, who prepared at Milton Academy, was captain of this year's football team and was the Associated Press choice for All-American quarterback this year. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa as a member of the Junior Eight, and has been the highest ranking athlete in college each of the last two years. He has won his letter in Hockey, Baseball, and Tennis, as well as in Football, and he is the ranking tennis player in New England. He was President of his Class in his Freshman year, the Junior in charge of Freshman affairs last year, and this year is President of the Student Council.

Norwood Penrose Hallowell Jr. of Readville, was elected Second Marshal. He was captain of this year's Cross Country team, which won the Intercollegiate meet in New York recently, and is the Intercollegiate Champion for one mile run. He is a member of the Student Council.

Eugene Edwin Record, of Brookline, was chosen Third Marshal. He is captain of this year's Track team and has won his letter in Football.

Joseph Rawson Collins, of Cincinnati, Ohio, won the position of Treasurer by a large majority. Collins, who prepared at Middlesex, is Manager of the Track team and is a member of the Student Council.

Paul Cashman Reardon, of Quincy, leading debater and an Andover graduate, was elected Orator, while Geoffrey Whitney Lewis, of Brookline, president of the University Instrumental Clubs, was chosen Class Chorister.

Loftus Eugene Becker, of Tonawanda, New York, president of the Lampoon, won the position of Ivy Orator, George Caspar Homans, of Boston, a member of the Advocate Board, was chosen Class Poet, and James Rufus Agee, of Rockland, Maine, president of the Advocate, was elected Odist.

The Album Committee is to be composed of the following men; Richard Norman Clark Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, chairman. James Sherman Barker, of Dorchester, John Sleeper Hartwell, of Bronxville, New York, and Rene Cheronnet Champollion, of Newport, New Hampshire
