The University tennis team will try to start building up a new series of victories today when it meets M. I. T. on the Divinity Courts this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Despite the fact that the Crimson netmen were downed 7 to 2 for the first time in three years last Saturday by the University of North Carolina, thereby breaking a list of 38 consecutive wins, they hope to take today's match.
Up to the time of the North Carolina upset, the Harvard players had met and easily defeated nine opponents, blanking five of the teams and never yielding more than two points in any of the other four matches. The M. I. T. outfit, while expected to give the Crimson a good tussle should not prove too difficult if the Harvard netmen are in stride.
