LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
A strong, fast soccer team from Northeastern University overwhelmed a somewhat ragged Harvard Junior Varsity aggregation in last Saturday's game. Seven goals were pushed over by Ralston and Brown of Northeastern, while the Harvard kickers were unable to make a single tally. Harvard's play was, on the whole, below par, and the superiority of the Northeasterners was patent.
Brown at center forward was outstanding for the visitors, scoring five of the seven goals and coupled with his team mates to produce a combination which the Crimson booters found hard to stop.
The summary:
Northeastern g., Kirkland: l.f.b., Dodson; r.f.b., Cochrane; l.h.b., Davenport; c.h.b., Heuson; r.h.b., Tirri; o.l., Kirkland; t.l., Scobie; c.f., Brown; l.r., Ralston; o.r., Logan.
Harvard Jayvee g., Nichols; r.f.b., Grossman; l.f.b., F. Wemple; r.h.b., Morrell; c.h.b., Coleman; l.h.b., Thatcher; o.r., Bloomberg; i.r., Seaman; e.f., Clark; i.l., Frailey; e.l., Baxter.
Substitutions: Harvard, Kandoian for Seaman, Van Briesen for Nichols, Bradford for Frailey, Goals; Brown 5, Balston 2. Score; Harvard 0, Northeastern 7.
