Sales versus "Sales"

We are not holding any "sale." There is no need for us to do so. Our prices have been marked in the first instance at the lowest possible price, at prices consistent with the value of money today.

Our prices are marked in plain figures for all to read. It is difficult to hold a "sale" with discounts on books that are not priced.

Other booksellers may hold "sales" with astoundingly high discounts and cry "Stinking fish" over their merchandise. Our fish do not stink.

We welcome comparisons of price, quality for quality. Our sales are most gratifying without "sales."
