Hurd, Kerlin, and Yatsevitch Expected To Show Well

Much encouraged by its showing in the New England Olympic trials held last Wednesday and Thursday evenings, the University sabre team meets Darthmouth this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the New Indoor Athletic Building. J.H. Hurd '34, who a short time ago won the New England notice championship, Gilbert Kertin '38, present holder of the New England Jun for Foils championship, G. M. Yatesfor '33, all of whom competed in the Olympic tryouts, and Captain R. R. Lawson '32 of the University sabre team are expected to show up well.

Owing to the cancellation of the match, with M.I.T. which was stated for the early part of this week, the Dartmouth combat will be the first intercollegiate test this season for the University fencers. Although the exact calibre of the New Hampshire team is unknown, it is anticipated that if will offer strong opposition.

The following men will represent the University; Fells: Kerlin, Rurd, Yalsevitch: Sabve: Lawson H. F. Walker '33 J. B. Beard '34.
